Emily and Tyler first spoke to each other months before they met in person, when Tyler's sister Tiffany asked him to "entertain" on the phone while she ran to the bathroom.  They kept in touch in the months leading up to them meeting in person pretty much every day, on MSN and myspace often talking well into the night.  Then came the day they finally saw each other in the flesh: Halloween 2006.  Tyler was dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow and Emily as a vampire!  Tyler didn't move to the city until November, but on New Year's Eve they went on their first date to an "unforgettable" night at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.  6 days later they were officially an item, and two weeks later Tyler proposed.  At first Emily fainted from the shock, but they were soon both in tears of happiness, feeling so incredibly lucky at the feeling that neither of them could live the rest of their life without the other beside.  They can't wait until their wedding day when they 'officially' will be united for eternity; something they've already promised with words and matching tattoos, and something they have always known in their hearts.
